Ed Miller’s Bio
Ed Miller was born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley, specifically Fresno and Merced. He joined the U.S. Navy and served six years during the Vietnam era, two and half years of which were in the Tonkin Gulf. After leaving the service, he moved to The Bay Area and joined the emerging high tech industry in the Silicon Valley and attended college. Over his 40-years of experience, Mr. Miller’s responsibilities included technology development, manufacturing engineering and project management for radar, mass spectrometers, consumer electronics, video games, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. He and his wife of 41 years have two children and one granddaughter. Mr. Miller was an avid sailboat racer of dinghies and keelboats on San Francisco Bay. He also was a high performance windsurfer. He retired with his wife, Linda, and moved to Lodi in 2007. Mr. Miller has been active in the Lodi Tea Party for several years and is one of its advocates to the Lodi City Council.
