On May 8, 2012, the Board of Supervisors voted for a minute order that created the Tuolumne-Stanislaus Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRWMP). This is a new governance structure – a non-governmental Organization (NGO). (Below is list of governments, bureaucracies and special interest groups that make up the Tuolumne-Stanislaus IRWMP) This regional government will be given statutory authority over water management and land use. We already have regional government; it’s called the California Legislature!
