U.S. Per Capita Debt Worse than Greece

U.S. per capita debt is larger than that of Europe’s most financially distressed countries, including Greece, a new analysis reveals.
 
U.S. debt per capita is nearly $45,000, approximately 15 percent higher than that of Greece ($38,937), and more than double that of Portugal ($19,989).
