Congressman Tom McClintock was elected in November 2008 to represent the 4th Congressional District in the United States Congress. Amador County is now part of the new Con-gressional District 4. Mc Clintock is the Republican candi-date for the new Congressional District 04 seat which extends from El Dorado to Fresno County and includes Amador.
